Trible screw pump |
Triple screw pumps belong to the family of rotary positive displacement pumps. It has only three moving parts - a power screw and two idler screws. These screws are with thread surfaces so shaped that they form a tight seal relative to each other and to the surrounding housing. As the screw rotate, closures are formed sealed from each other by the threads. These closures transform rotational motion in to continous and uniform axial motion.
